Our commitmentהמחויבות שלנו

My Golan is for everyone who travels the Golan or lives here, including people with disabilities. We built the site to the Israeli standard IS 5568, which follows the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, and we test it against WCAG 2.1 AA.

הגולן שלי נועד לכל מי שמטייל בגולן או גר בו, כולל אנשים עם מוגבלות. בנינו את האתר לפי התקן הישראלי ת״י 5568, המבוסס על הנחיות WCAG 2.0 הבינלאומיות ברמה AA, ואנחנו בודקים אותו מול WCAG 2.1 ברמה AA.

What we didמה עשינו

• Every page of the directory works with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to the content. The home page also has a skip link to the list of businesses.
• Every place on the map is also in a plain list, so nobody needs the map to find a business.
• We aim for AA color contrast in text and buttons, and the text grows with the browser's zoom.
• Films and animations can be paused, and they stay still when your device asks for reduced motion.
• The site works in Hebrew right to left and in English left to right, and each language is marked for screen readers.

• אפשר להשתמש בכל עמודי המדריך באמצעות המקלדת בלבד, עם סימון פוקוס גלוי וקישור דילוג לתוכן. בעמוד הבית יש גם קישור דילוג לרשימת העסקים.
• כל מקום שעל המפה מופיע גם ברשימה רגילה, כך שאין צורך במפה כדי למצוא עסק.
• אנחנו שואפים לניגודיות צבע ברמה AA בטקסט ובכפתורים, והטקסט גדל עם הגדלת התצוגה בדפדפן.
• אפשר לעצור סרטים ואנימציות, והם נשארים במקום כשהמכשיר מבקש תנועה מופחתת.
• האתר עובד בעברית מימין לשמאל ובאנגלית משמאל לימין, וכל שפה מסומנת עבור קוראי מסך.

How we testedאיך בדקנו

On 14 October 2026 we checked the home page, the business pages and these legal pages in Hebrew and in English, on a phone width and a desktop width, with the automated tool axe-core 4.10.2, and by hand with the keyboard alone in Chrome.

ב־14 באוקטובר 2026 בדקנו את דף הבית, את דפי העסקים ואת הדפים המשפטיים האלה, בעברית ובאנגלית, ברוחב של טלפון וברוחב של מחשב, בכלי האוטומטי axe-core 4.10.2, וידנית עם המקלדת בלבד בדפדפן Chrome.

What is not yet perfectמה עדיין לא מושלם

• We have not yet completed a full test with a screen reader. It is planned, and this page will be updated when it is done.
• The map itself is a picture drawn by an outside service (OpenFreeMap). Its details are not readable by a screen reader, which is why the list beside it carries the same places.
• Most business pages do not have a photo yet, and none of them shows opening hours, because we publish only what we could check.

• עדיין לא השלמנו בדיקה מלאה עם קורא מסך. היא מתוכננת, והעמוד הזה יעודכן כשתסתיים.
• המפה עצמה היא תמונה שמציג שירות חיצוני (OpenFreeMap). קורא מסך לא יכול לקרוא את פרטיה, ולכן הרשימה שלידה מכילה את אותם המקומות.
• ברוב דפי העסקים עדיין אין תמונה, ובאף אחד מהם אין שעות פתיחה, כי אנחנו מפרסמים רק מה שהצלחנו לבדוק.
