Read It Standing On It
why any of this exists
All of it grew out of one habit: reading the passage while standing on the ground it happened on.
That is what these pages are for. Read the site before you get there, so you arrive knowing the story. Stand in it, and let the geography do the arguing, because the land is the oldest commentary on the book and it has never once been edited. Then read it again on the way home. It will not be the same text.
